OP it seems there was a fox in the hen house all along. I would talk to your husband because you're both still legally married. Tell him this is going to impact quite a bit if he doesn't break it off. As in friends and family are off limits.

When I was a teen this happened to a family we were acquainted with. All the kids were around the same age/gender and were friends too who had grown up socializing with one another and going to activities together

A woman's husband and her best friend started messing around, then moved in together when it was discovered. They married after divorcing their spouses (all friends, now former).

Mom A kept her kids. Mom B kept her kids.

It affected the kids for a long time, and at least one is still a somewhat messed up adult.

I have zero respect for someone who would do that to their family.
