Verbal or physical or sexual ?

Sexual? O.o calm down, probably a wedgie

The first PP is referring to a grave incident at a local high school were male students were raped in the locker room by other male students and the incident was called "hazing" at first.

They were raped with broomsticks I believe in that incident.

Let me clarify—that was the high school football incident. I have no idea what happened with DCU incident.

Sounds to me that it was more serious than run of the mill bullying. For P2P to be suspended and clubs not sending players, it was a bigger deal than not passing a teammate the ball, socially excluding a kid, or name calling.

Rape is very rare, why is that even coming up?

Most sports team related “bullying” is simple and common when growing up. Thinking otherwise is foolish. Bullying even goes on in office environments with “grown adults,” why in the world would someone think it doesn’t happen in youth environments?

If you didn’t see or experience some form of bullying when playing youth sports, congrats, you are the anomaly. Hell, even today DD is aware of the verbal bullying going on with her team and older kids.

We need to stop babying our kids. Especially DA kids, where the stakes are higher.

Is bullying really "simple"? it ruins a kid's team experience - even if it's the subtle ways like excluding them socially or even isolating them on the field when a player won't pass the ball.

I heard there's currently an investigation into a hazing incident at DC United U15 DA Boys team and all P2P sessions are suspended for the time being. Anyone else heard of this?
