Had Shepard Husky mix that did the same thing. It happens to spayed females, the vet game me medication that helped a ton. I think they were some kind of hormone. She lived to be 14 so the medication didn't seem to harm her in any way

Our toy poodle did this - it's how we learned she had diabetes.

My eight year old dog started doing this about a year ago and I spent several hundred dollars having him tested for kidney problems, diabetes, all kinds of potential problems. The conclusion is that his hormones are changing as he gets older. Now he sleeps in male dog wraps and it's been a great solution.

Very common in spayed female dogs. Hormone responsive urinary incontinence. There are meds that can help.

I have a lab mix who we adopted at about a year old.
She is neutered and weighs about 80 pounds.
She is now around 6 or 7.

Lately, she takes naps on the couch or on the floor and when she wakes up, there is a puddle.

Is this "bed-wetting" a common thing? It is a new behavior.

Could it be diabetes? Any hints before our next check up?
