DD has a cough and runny nose. I kept her home today because the cough kept her up all night, it was better today but turned into a runny nose. Take another day off or send her?
What was her energy level like today? For me, a runny nose is not enough reason to stay home.

100% full of joy. She met Santa and had so much fun running around the mall. Last night she barely slept but was able to sleep in until 9.
Wow, just wow. She was sick so you put her on Santa's lap so he could get sick and share it
I so don't understand people like this. If your kid is not well enough to go to school, then don't bring them to public places.
I know, I know....your kid just HAS to get out of the house to run around a mall and sit on Santa's lap when they're sick. There's NO WAY your kid will survive a sick day without doing that.

As long as she is feeling well, no fever, no diarrhea/vomiting, she is going. HFM is actually allowed at our daycare since it's already spread by the time symptoms appear.
