I am so sorry for the pain... I just went through a miscarriage this week - Christmas was going to be the time when we planned to announce. It is just so tough, especially this is also the time when we start receiving those Christmas greetings with happy family of other newborns in the family and etc. and I pity myself too (this was our 4th miscarriage in the last 4 years, we have no live birth yet).

I am so sorry, all. I miscarried this summer. My due date was 12/30 and I’m already sad thinking about how different this Christmas will be than how I had imagined it. Wish I could erase this pain for all of us.

I feel your pain.. I had 3 miscarriages in the past one year... last year the night before my ivf retrieval by dad passed away.. I did not get to see him in his last minutes in this world. It is very very hard.. you are not alone... we are all here with you!! Just keep the faith that things will get better and happier days are on the way.

I had a loss on Christmas Day years ago and it forever changed the day (and the season) for me. The pain has eased but there is an ache and a kind of awareness that doesn't go away.

Yes. I'm so, so very sorry for your loss, OP. I had a miscarriage earlier this year. My due date would have been next week, and I find that I'm really struggling right now.

I had a 24 week loss this fall, Dec 1 is my due date. Last Christmas I was also pregnant, loss that one by mid Jan at 10 weeks. SO many ups and downs. The extreme highs and low low ares taxing on me. Just really exhausting and somehow its so much harder during the holiday season. Its cliche and I don't want to feel this was but I do. At thanksgiving there was so much empathy for us but also...pity. I could feel it. And I get it, I pity myself! Anyone else having a particularly harder month?
