Are you sure the size 9 wasn't suppose to be like size 6...an inverted 9?

It's still a big size for that age, but maybe the family was anticipating needing a larger size for a few months down the road to get them through the year until the next angel tree.

Then you get the next size or two up as parents can put them away if they don't fit. Its hard to buy shoes as some kids have particular feet and some can wear anything. My kid has tiny feet. He wears a boys 10/12 but only wears a size 1-2 in shoes. You can get a huge range at these ages.

I have the same question re: our angel tree recipient. He is- 15 month old wearing 4 T clothes and bigshoe size. I got whatever was listed on the the card.

Exactly. Get her what the paper says.

My 5.5 year old is average-sized, wears size 5 clothes and an 11 shoe. Kids all all different sizes. This girl could be shorter but rounder, and needs a size 6 shirt/pants.

My DD wears a size 5 and size 10 shoes. I think your kid has big feet and the kid your buying for has small feet. If you’re concerned, I’d just buy a size up. I certainly wouldn’t skip shoes!

I'd get a size up and go with a 10 or 10.5 shoe with a gift receipt. It can be right. My son has always had tiny feet.

My son is 4.5 and wears 4T shirts, 5/6 slim pants and a size 8 or 8.5 shoe.
His rain boots are 2-3 sizes smaller than all the other boots in the tub outside his classroom. I used to think all the other kids had too big hand me down boots, but now my 2yr old is in 7s and almost caught up with his brother.

Yeah I think that has to be wrong. Can you get slippers instead, or a gift receipt with like size 1-2 shoes?

I would try to contact the family or at least ask the organizer, only because I think shoes that will fit is a good thing to include.

Just buy them from a place like target or Wal-Mart that does easy exact exchanges. And pick a style that isn't on sale yet (ie: fading out of stock).

I do angel tree every year and this year I got a 5 year old little girl who wears a size 6 and it says a size 9 shoe. I have a super small 5yr old myself who wears 4T and an 11 shoe. I typically buy a coat, an outfit, a pair of shoes and a couple toys off her wishlist(just says she likes Elena and Minnie Mouse)
I’m thinking I should skip the shoes this year. Or do you think the size could be right?
