OP, my DS looked at lots of Catholic universities (he is waiting now to hear from ND, BC and others). The schools he applied to were ND, BC, Fordham, and Villanova (among other secular schools). He also considered Georgetown, College of the Holy Cross, Loyola Chicago, Loyola Baltimore, Marquette, and Providence College. I do believe merit aid is easier to get at all the schools with the exception of ND, BC, and Villanova (although Villanova has more merit available than the other two).
