I did my FET at SGF and drove myself. I went to work that day (desk job) - baby is here and awesome!

Never heard that. I did 5 FETs at 3 different clinics. One wanted me to lay still for 10 minutes (and admitted it was a bit of superstition), one for 30 (but I had to get up to pee, so I didn't make it 30 min) and the other let me go right away. Nothing on driving.

My clinic said nothing about having someone drive me. I went to work before transfer, worked half a day, went to transfer and then drove myself home. I thought about going back to work but decided it was better to just go home and rest. I’m 39 weeks pregnant now. Good luck!!

In terms of resting afterward, I've had mixed recommendations. I asked the clinic about driving myself if my husband isn't available, and they said to take Uber or taxi. Have things changed recently?

Did you drive yourself after? What about resting all day, which I'm assuming means not going to work? I have a desk job, so not strenuous, and wasn't really thinking of taking the whole day off. I've done it both ways and had success neither way, but just curious what the current thinking is on all of this at different clinics in the area. It's a Day 3 transfer.

I had two FET's at Shady Grove (both unsuccessful), and my husband drove me. I was able to work the rest of the day, but I did take it easy. I would see no problem with driving myself. This week I had a day 3 transfer (IVF) in NY and I live in DC. After transfer, I walked a bit, uber'd to penn station, and took the train home. They didn't have a problem with it.
