If medicaid recipients are ineligible how is it that my friend is granted a LISS grant every year? Odd.

we apply each year. We do the application correctly. We get a letter accepting our application each year. Kid is 10. We have only been chosen once since it went to lottery.

after I reached out by phone and email, the office called me to let me know that we did not make round 2, however if funds are available between Jan/Feb they will let us know.

We received a letter right after.

It's for people with a developmental disability. Medicaid/waiver recipients are ineligible. Someone posted a helpful link with more details.

I called/emailed LISS a few times and went to their presentation / listened to the Webinar to make sure that my application is complete and won't get rejected.

Is there anyone that didn't get it? Why not?

It's a lottery. If your name is not picked, you don't get it.

Do you know anyone who always gets the LISS grant? Someone I know gets it every year. Is that common?
