NP. Welcome to my world. 14 miscarriages, one of which took six months to fully clear out - but that was a "natural" miscarriage. It is a definitely odd that they are still finding more after those two procedures. Are you sure you don't have fibroids? What are your HCG levels?

Go have a consult with Dr. F at GW infertility. Alternately, if he's still practicing, Dr. Maddox at Capitol Women's Care cleaned me up after a hellish loss. I am a huge, huge fan of the women's care at Inova Fairfax.

Is it possible there was some medical malpractice with the first d&c? I would go to a different doctor with a completely different practice. I wouldn't have another procedure done with your current practice.

No advice, but this has happened to so many people I know at Shady Grove. What is going on there?

You would have to ask your doctor but I think you will be fine going forward. It seems pretty rare for this to happen. Has the doctor given you any answers?

Not sure what the question is. I have had multiple D&Cs and was eventually able to get pregnant and keep it.

Anyone have to go through multiple D&Cs or hysteroscopies for retained products of conception? Were you eventually able to get pregnant again?
