I hope you shared not only the good but also the bad and the ugly [u]so that they entered the process with clear eyed instead of starry eyed.

You went through two rounds of IVF, so it's not all milk and honey for you.

A couple years ago, I went through two rounds of IVF, which resulted in my 1 year old DD and 3 frozen. My best friend, who also had fertility issues, was inspired by my success and ended up spending money she and her husband couldn't really afford for a round with donor eggs, which resulted in 2 embryos. I encouraged her the whole process. The first didn't take, and we found out yesterday, neither did the 2nd. I am devastated for her, and I feel truly horrible for my part in encouraging her to try it.
