I'm buying all of those but the pie, which DH is making. ILs are brining the rutabegas. I didn't post my shopping list, but it's all on there!

Its a long day. I'm ready for it to be over by 7pm.

Holy crap you're organized. All we know is we'll have 6 adults and 2 toddlers (maybe 2 more adults and 1 more toddler; they haven't confirmed yet). We also have very vague ideas around what we might make.

My ILs are elderly and can't drive late at night. They prefer to get on the road as early as possible. This is the latest we could push it per their wishes.

OP here. Thank you for the suggestion, but my ILs insist on rutabegas (I don't care for them), and my kids only like the blue box of mac and cheese; I refuse to make that kind for a holiday meal.

We do mac n' cheese (Costco's is really good) for the kids. Rutabega would not fly in our family.

Also, if you need room in your refrigerator - leave the wine outside/in the garage/in your car. Same for other hardy things like rolls

-Guest contribution

3:10 Put potatoes on (large silver pot)
Turkey out, cover with foil and towels
Gravy on (small silver pot with lid)
Put rutabagas in oven

3:30 Put rolls in oven

Set out cranberries

Set out butter


3:40 Drain potatoes (silver colander)

3:45 Mash potatoes, cover with towel

DH carve turkey, cover with foil (blue platter)

Aunt-in-law sets water on table (ice bucket); re-ups wine

3:50 Microwave green beans, blue bowl
Stir dressing
Rolls out of oven/white bowl with towel, on table
