It's not a question of legal it's a question of the guidelines. If I recall the max for K-1 is 22. It goes up to 26 for 3rd. A principal can seek a waiver from APS if needed, but 25-26 is the plan for 3rd grade.

I think the max is 26 in APS.

Title 1 school - 3rd grade - 16 kids.

I just confirmed my PTA directory information and was surprised that my K child has 20 kids in the class while my 3rd grander has 26. Does anybody know, off hand, what the legal max is for ARL and share your kids' class headcount?
