Ha.
Me - everything inside the house. The house is in decent shape.
Him - everything outside the house. The yard is a mess.

I do 95% of the day-to-day and we have a maid service 2x/month.

dh - trash, kitchen, vacuuming
me - bathroom, wiping/dusting surfaces, straightening up, and bills
both - laundry, grocery store, cooking, walking dog
DH never does a "deep clean" though, and I do, usually when he's on work travel

When we notice something needs doing, we do it. We don’t need a chore chart and a mathematical equation to figure this out.

DH usually empties the dishwasher, takes out the garbage and the recyclables, does his own laundry and generally straightens up the messes I make. I shop and cook dinner but we are both on our own for breakfast and lunch. We have a bi-weekly cleaning service and weekly landscape service. I pay all the bills and he manages our investments. There are plenty of other chores that take place and somehow one of us takes care of it without open warfare. We are empty nesters which makes things much easier.

If one of us is cleaning the other one will too -- this really cuts down on resentment. We do whatever needs doing, not really a sharp division of labor, though I handle more laundry and he handles more trash.
