I buy:
Organic milk
Cage free eggs
Cereal
Meat (chicken, steak and ground turkey, plus ready made burgers if we are hosting a bbq)
Salmon (when feeding a crowd - otherwise it's too bug)
Snacks for kids (Goldfish, Kind bars, etc)
Burritos and veggie burgers (snacks for after school/practice)
Dog food
Zyrtec
Paper plates, plastic ware, cups and napkins
Aluminum foil
Tzatziki (LIVE this)
Hummus

And so much more - totally worth it for our family of 4 with 2 athletic teen boys who eat a ton!

Baby Bel cheeses are a great deal there if you kids like those.

Nutella if you have enough self control to have two big jars of it in the house (I do not)

Avocado oil--big bottle at costco is the same price as a little bottle anywhere else.

My Costco rule: If our family eats it all, then it's a good deal.

I always buy the same stuff, pretty much. I like their Aidell's chicken sausage (great deal!), Babybel cheese, the pesto, bagels and muffins, wine, olives, toilet paper, bottled water.

Their dairy prices are on par with Wegman's, so I alternate.

I don't buy sandwich bread and lettuce at Costco because they usually go bad before we can eat it all. I get those things at the regular grocery store.

Berries, nuts, coffee.
Generally speaking, it’s the high end stuff where you’ll save the most. Stuff like paper towels, canned food, spaghetti, etc., will be close to the on-sale price at the local grocery store.

Rao's marinara. Costs me 8.99 at Safeway not on sale, I get two of the same size for 9 something at Costco!

In addition to what's mentioned above, I also buy cereal, pancake mix, eggo waffles, individual bags of chips for lunches, strawberries and apples.

Their pesto is awesome and a great deal. And their logs of goat cheese!

I'm another fan of their eggs & milk. If you need lactaid, that's also well priced. Their everyday sandwich bread is a good deal (not great, but good). Also English muffins.

Every time I go, I pick up a rotisserie chicken for $5. Family says it is the best tasting and it is by far the largest.

We buy their Dunkin Donuts coffee, too. They raised the price recently and I haven't done an oz for oz comparison in a while, but it is decently priced and we love the large bags.

I stock up on peanut butter when it is on sale, as well as dove body wash and Claritin. Their kids motrin is cheap, too.

I don't think that their Kirkland brand TP and paper towel prices can be beat.

I also get pesto to mix with pasta (refrigerated section)

Wine prices are good, especially on their brand.

Toy prices are good.

Good deals at Costco?

I’m looking for:
Staples for family of 5
Kids lunch stuff

But feel free to suggest other items that are of interest to others.

I’m already getting rotisserie chicken regularly. It’s an awesome deal.
