It's a pretty-looking school in a better part of Tampa, but, yes, mediocre in every sense. Why specifically does she want to go there? What does she plan to study, and what does she plan to do afterwards? If she plans to stay in Tampa, it could make sense as a choice, but then why not look at USF instead?

Agree that wasn't a helpful comment. Also its not true that its mediocre or that everyone gets in.

The acceptance rate is a decent 50%

It ranks 20 out of Southern Universities.

Those are some decent stats.

Friend’s DD goes there and loves it. Beautiful living environment. She enjoys her classes, which are primarily 30 students or fewer. I don’t think you are going to get the resources of a state school but has other pluses.
