Yes, it's much harder to write a good 200-word essay than a good 1,000-word essay. Is your child up to the task?

The applicants have always been asked to sign a statement that no one helped them with their application. When my kid did it I did look at it before it was submitted to make sure there weren’t any glaring errors. I also seem to remember ds asking which awards to list. They don’t want a parent coaching a child but if a child is having trouble as op’s child appears to be having I think it is fine to clarify or give guidance. No editing or writing though

What's done is done, PP. The student has to handle the rest, and it's either sticking to terms, or verifying first with the coordinator.

Should they also put it after every HW, to make sure that nobody worked with tutor?
Is this because there is no more essay during actual test?

What’s so funny about the “honor code”? It is a very common practice. Probably more important than any academic achievement.

225 words is probably fine...double is way too long. When she gets to the common ap-it literally cuts off what you can submit. Show she can follow directions
