I lost hair after my miscarriage; not as much as when I delivered a full term baby, but definitely a noticeable amount.

I started IVF after three miscarriages... I already had ton of wispies because of the miscarriages. I noticed after the retrievals, my hair fell out at a much higher rate than before. I've read on other boards that this is common.

I had major hair loss about 4 mos postpartum, so it would make sense that the same could happen after your hormonal rollercoaster. I have never done back to back retrievals, though.

I think it’s posisble - hair is very sensitive to hormonal changes. Different people react very differently

Don’t just check TSH. Have your doctor run a full thyroid panel.

I had a missed miscarriage after a FET back in May, then D&C, then 3 back to back egg retrievals. Since about June or July, my hair has been falling out at an alarming rate. Do you guys think all these surgeries are whats causing the hair loss? Anyone else have hair fall out after a D&C or a retrieval? I had my TSH checked back in June and it was 1.15 - so thinking its probably not thyroid?

Its depressing because my hair has always been super thick and basically the one thing I really felt physical proud of.
