Back then HP was predominate black, but like Suitland HS at the time, had a large portion of white students. The difference between the 2 schools when it came to that demographic most of the white students were bused in from all over the county because of the VPA and UHS programs at Suitland. For High Point, many of the white students lived in that Beltsville area. The area was split however because many went to High Point while others went to Laurel. Laurel also had the UHS program too. Anyway, it was a bigger number of white students back in 91, than it is currently. Now, I will be willing to guess that High Point is predominate Latino, Afro-Caribbean and students from many of the African countries. I bet there are less than 1000 black kids and less than 150 white kids at High Point HS 2019.

OK. Well 80% of the kids at that school are on free lunch so I’m going to assume that the vast majority aren’t paying out of pocket for a trip to Europe. But I don’t have data on what that percentage was on 1990.

I have a friend who was there then. I don't know if he's considered black or white - never asked him, but all of his friends were black.

Well, let's see, if "everyone was either white or Asian (one Asian guy)" then I have to assume the one Asian guy was half the class with the rest of the class being white (the other guy) per your own data.
