I haven't seen this specifically, but I do know DA teams can enroll in tournaments as long as it doesn't violate the DA rules of no more than 1 game a day and no more than 2 days in a row. Or so I had been told. But this tournament doesn't seem to follow the rules.
DA clubs can apply for a waiver from the DA. The age groups represented are U13 and U14. Standings are not kept for either age group so it likely is not a big deal with the DA.
Never heard of it, and my son's DA team doesn't do anything of the sort. The whole point isn't some arbitrary rule. The whole point is to prevent injuries by not playing more than the above stated games.
