This message board appears to lean center-right. My guess is predominantly white and upper middle class, married, gen-X. This demographic leans conservative (but not Trump Republican). the Washington Post editorial board leans fiscally conservative[b], Fred Hiatt is a libertarian.

There is huge frustration in up county with Silver Spring always taking the lion share of everything. There are poor areas in up county that need attention too. The MC and UMC see everything diverted down county and the last thing they want to do is to vote for another SS county council. The west is tired of paying for all of it.
So yes I would expect there to be lots of Elrich signs in Silver Spring which is exactly why he is so hated in the rest of the county. I think Floreen is going to end up winning which will shock the folks in Silver Spring.
