Many people who would have voted for him in a two person race as a protest vote likely will vote for Floreen, either because they like her enough or as the lesser of two evils (in their minds).
Op here...
I wouldn’t totally count Ficker out — Floreen and Elrich night we’ll split the vote and leave room for Ficker to pull through.
Floreen just wants to rubber stamp development without regards to schools and is going to raise taxes
Elrich will definitely raise taxes and is just scary extreme
So torn on what to do here.

1996, Ficker was acquitted of destruction of property in a 1995 traffic incident and saw battery charges dropped by the State's Attorney after a jury deadlocked 10-2 in favor of acquittal. Ficker had been convicted in a non-jury District Court trial but appealed for a Circuit Court jury trial. In the traffic incident the driver of the car Ficker hit reported that he struck her in the face, breaking her glasses.

I know a Ficker is a bit of a lunatic but I get the feeling that at least with him there might be some checks and balances with council and my taxes aren’t going up. So why shouldn’t I vote for Ficker?
