I wouldn't go for panel IgE or blood testing. It's no longer considered best practice, as it results in tons of false positives. Test only with a reaction history. My son tested positive to wheat, soy, and dairy; he's always consumed those things no problem. We kept them in his diet.

Not a pediatric allergist so not sure a good fit for OP.

Don’t know what the specific issue is that you’re dealing with, but I noticed you’re having immunoglobulin testing. If you end up needing an immunologist, Dr Cunningham Rundles is the absolute best. She’s out of NYC, but is famous in her field.

I had multiple immune issues as a kid and she was the only one who could figure out what was going on with me. Doctors to this day see her name in my medical records and comment about how amazing she is.

Mine did skin prick plus a blood test. Dr. White at the Institute for Allergy and Asthma in Wheaton. They have a second location as well.

My kids' allergist did a skin prick test. I thought that was more accurate?

+1 on Dr. Loria. DD has seen him since 14 months old. She's almost 4.

Look for a functional medicine practitioner in your area. Sorry, I don’t have a referral

Did anyone get that single blood test done for their child as a start to investigating what was going on and then move to individual top allergens if the marker was high?

Looking for a research-oriented allergist/GI/ENT - someone willing to explore the root cause instead of a 5 min appt and a prescription for flonase.
