It kind of just came up. There was a discussion about how much teen sex there seems to be now compared to when we were kids. A couple of the parents mentioned that their kids have been active. This lady mentioned her daughter and was more less trying to get advise on how to deal with her as she is a single parent.

What? This is scary to hear. That number is high for a lifetime, IMO, if you are limiting your encounters to someone you are truly in a loving relationship with. To me, that's the problem, it's not tied to any relationship if she's had that many partners at that age.

This is scary and sad and these parents are probably desperate for a shoulder to cry on and perhaps some good advice. I feel very sorry for the parents and hope to never be in their shoes.

If im.being honest, they are equally concerning. Not because teen sex is bad, but because tons of casual sex is something that I think you need to be emotionally mature enough to handle, and it's not for everyone. Fifteen year olds read meaning into EVERYTHING, so I don't believe that they magically can divorce meaning from sex at this age., and presumably younger since she probably hanst had sex with 8 people in the last few months. Also the parents are crazy for putting this on blast at a party

This. The parents should not be sharing this information with you. There are also a lot of people who would judge you for having any sexual partners at 15, even if it was "only one."

Hi we were at a party on the weekend and a friend brought up they caught there 15 yr old daughter having sex. They said they talked to her and found out she has slept with 8 boys and one of them were older around 19. I found this rather gross. When I was 15 I had only been with one person. What is everyones take on this. Is that a really big number of partners for a 15 yr old?
