He has an ex-wife whom he has no mutual children with.

And they text, dine out together AND see movies together??!
Yet for some odd reason, he cannot tell her about seeing you?

This is just really shady.
In all honesty, I wouldn’t question what is going on -
I would just leave this guy & all his weird issues alone.

Something definitely is not right here.

I said I was generally fine with it! It's just new for me, so I was asking for others' perspectives. I'm not in any way saying they can't be friends. Calm down.

The guy I'm seeing has a close relationship with his ex-wife. They have no children. They go out to dinner occasionally, see movies together, text, and he even has a picture of her in the house. I am generally okay with their relationship and not threatened by it, but I do think it is unusual. I am not trying to be the petty girlfriend that swoops in and makes demands, so I guess I'm just asking for other peoples' perspectives.

Would you feel okay with a situation like this if you were dating a man who was so close to his ex?
