She busted her ass to make herself a high status, high value woman. She is now constantly in the public eye. While it may seem like generations are guaranteed status and wealth, public sentiment can turn on royals in less than a generation. Her every move is scrutinized. Her in laws are some of the strictest possible, and she's fairly low on the totem pole in that particular hierarchy.
I am very happy for her, and don't get me wrong, she's going to have some amazing experiences in life. But let's not kid ourselves - she was already having amazing experiences and didn't just snag a price out of nowhere, and her life isn't all roses.
This. This board, and its MRA trolls, don't get it. High status millennial men want high status women. Only low status millennial men, imagining what it would be like to be high status, think it's otherwise.

She wasn't really "high status" the way Prince Harry is or Princess Eugenie is. She was D list celebrity who most people didn't even know. How many higher caliber, more famous actresses wind up marrying nobodies and she winds up with the prince!

Despite coming from humble roots and a trashy family she winds up married the most highest status man a woman can find and will now bear children with titles and is secured generations of wealth and financial security.
And the best the rest of us can do is marry a doctor?
not fair!
