I have a standard English-language name spelled the standard way, and I've been correcting people all of my life.

I think it's adorable - either spelling. But expect lots of letters to her (okay, maybe just from some hipster Gen-X'ers

OP here! Ok this is what I meant Clio! Not Cleo

She'll be constantly correcting everyone on the spelling.

Still not a fan. They are pronounced exactly the same.

Clio: My name is Clio.
People: C-L-E-O?
Clio: No, C-L-I-O.

Not a big hardship, I think.

Is Cleo really Greek? Other than coming from a Greek word? I’ve never met anyone named Cleo who was Greek. In fact I’ve only known fictional characters on tv name Cleo and they were AA/biracial.

I like it, but not sure about the paring with Zoe. E-o. O-e. EI-EI-o...

It's a nice name, but I think most people would equate it to Cleopatra.

DH loves it. I'm not sure what I think about it. It's Greek, like our daughter's name Zoë. Our kids aren't Greek lol, they are black/white/Native American.
