We did this with Cornell about a year ago, and it was around $1000. Fees for Cornell's lab (all excellent people) to get the embryos out, fees for transport. In the long run it's more cost efficient to keep them with the very little frozen sperm we have left at the same facility (Fairfax Cryobank). However when we use them in the future, we may transport them ourselves (if allowed) up to Cornell to avoid the huge transport fee. I've transported the sperm myself and it was like $50 each time.

My new clinic is doing this for me. I had to sign some paperwork with SGF to release them and pay a $250 fee, but my new clinic is handling all other logistics.

ask the facility directly. they would be more versed in your request and be able to provide you logistics

why wouldn't you leave them there? are you going to a new clinic? your new clinic should be able to help you. I did my treatments at GW so I dont' know anything about SGF.
