My twice exceptional 8th grader, who struggles so much with fine motor skills, processing speed, prioritization, and inconsistent writing (sometimes it's super weird, sometimes it's excellent), etc, scored a 263 on his fall MAP-R. It corresponds to a 1825 Lexile level. The results didn't even give a Lexile range this time, the range was written as 1825L - 1825L.
HA!
(I would never say this out loud.)
Yea! 99th percentile, I believe. Congrats. My DS is also 2E, so it feels great when the strengths shine through. I will make a little brag here too (perfect score on the quantitative section of the CoGat, 6th grade! Woo Hoo!). He struggles, so I know it pleases him to have these strengths.
Congrats again to your DS.
