I don't think there's much of a reason except that there haven't been any studies on it, so there's no hard proof that it's safe. I think though that many doctors would say there's no reason why it would be unsafe.

I stopped after I got a positive beta.

My RE was not concerned about me stopping ubiquinol at all. I tapered off a few days after my positive beta out of an abundance of caution.

Would appreciate hearing thoughts on this. For those of you who have taken Ubiquinol before or while going through an IVF cycle, when did you stop taking it? Did you stop taking it before starting injections, before egg retrieval, before the transfer, after getting a positive, etc.? If you stopped at some point earlier on in your cycle and the cycle was unsuccessful, did you just start taking it again before the next cycle?

Does anyone know if there's a general recommendation on whether or not to ensure you're NOT taking it during the two week wait?
