Anonymous wrote:John Burroughs is an excellent option for Preschool and PreK if you don’t get into any charters. I did one year there and my sons teacher was fantastic! She was a lot better than the past 2 teachers he’s had at our current charter. However, the school does lack diversity which wasn’t a real problem but language was important too. I encourage you to visit, you will be surprised. The principal didn’t talk much when I saw him at a community event but he was there. Check out Burroughs.

I love the community, but it feels like commuting to some Ward 5 charters would be horrendous. Ft Lincoln parents, where did you end up sending your kids? Are there any DCPS or DC charters that I should consider, given the proximity of our neighborhood?
