I’m only considering guys 10-15 years older. Nothing over 15 years, its the max.

It gets old (no pun intended!) fast. They tend to slow down long before you do, which is very frustrating. I still want to go out, have new experiences, socialize, etc and he just wants to watch tv and complain about work/politics/his 401k.

What I wouldn't do for a guy 10 years my junior.....

I don't think 10 is that bad. But 15+, then yea, you're looking at caregiver territory in the future.

because there have been numerous "older man looking for younger women to date" threads , and the whole "daddy issues" comes up a lot.

An older man is more likely to want (and be ready for) commitment than a younger one.

Interesting. When i was in college, 90% of the women I boned/dated were well over 15 years my senior. My parents divorced when I was 6, but I had a step mom early on and up until now. My current wife is 8 years my junior.

OP- get counseling. You're going to waste your youth dating old men who want nothing more than your body.

My very long-term girlfriend is 11 years younger than me. It works very well for us (52/41yo). I dote on her and she dotes on me.

I’ve got daddy issues. Growing up I had a rocky and distant relationship with my dad. I’ve never been close to him. This resulted in me feeling attracted to older men when it comes to relationships. I want a man who is kind of like a father figure, very caring and dotes on me. I don’t seem to find that in men who are slightly older than me. I just wanted to know if anyone is in a relationship where their man is 10-15 years older and whether you feel he’s a father figure and treats you like a princess? How would you compare it with your previous relationships with men who are say for example, 1-5 years older?
