Buy the Wrangler instead. Get an authentic off-road vehicle instead of a pretend one (G-wagon) and use the extra $65,000 to do something fun with.

Most soccer moms can’t afford G- wagons , the Mercedes GLC 450 is more their speed and affordability limit .


You mean the GLS? It's still $80k.

The new jeep wrangler fits car seats well and is not a rough ride. I brought our car seats when we test drove it.


No offense, but a mom who buys a Wrangler as a child hauler over one of the other infinitely more practical options to help her recapture her youth is probably not a great authority on driving dynamics. The Wrangler has a rough ride on the road and if you think it's good to drive you just haven't driven anything better. Ignorance is bliss.

Thanks, I have looked at the interior and was not impressed at how barebones it looked but there is just something about its antiquated design that really appeals to me. Even the 10 year old g wagons look great. Am definitely not a RR/bentley/maserati person. Was thinking of GLS550 but its just another SUV though of course luxurious.

Would you recommend it with young children in the backseat(2 carseats) , and how long have you had yours?

I am considering switching over to one, have always liked the classic design and it looks like it will last forever but trying to weigh pros and cons.
