This. When I punish/hurt my DH or am pissed at him, then I am also hurting/punishing myself. Look at the list above - sex, cuddles and favorite meal - all of these things are mutual enjoyable activities.

It is, but if she's anything like my DW, gotta get her mind right before she comes around to sex. Getting her mind right means changing your ways a bit, flowers, massages, etc. Then, sexy time.

Sincerely apologize and ensure that I do not hurt them again in that same way. I listen to the pain I’ve caused and do everything possible to reassure and make amends. I also give space so they can heal on their own.

If you've done something to really hurt your spouse, what do you do to make up with them? Or if they are feeling down, what do you do to show that you love them and try to make them feel better?
