Congrats on your wedding, OP!

OP here. The 3x a day 2mg estrace was sucky but not unbearable. For me it was intermittent but daily dull headaches (weird for me as I’ve suffered migraines since 3rd grade and rarely any true headaches), some nausea, and reflux. Just generally have felt mildly hungover really, the kind of mild hungover that goes away once you’ve had some coffee. Except it ebbs and flows yet never really goes away.

Frustrating then that my lining was 7mm after two weeks of this. So added 2 more doses per day vaginally for another week, ugh! Staying well hydrated helps with the headaches but the reflux is just going strong. Low point — throwing up in my mouth at Costco. Yep.

Wedding dress was fine — spanx for the ceremony and pictures but took them off for the meal and dancing.

Only side effect for me was weird dreams.

I was bloated and it made my head and joints ache.

I was/am also on ot 3x/day and haven't noticed any bloating or other side effects. I think I experienced a headache or two when I first started it though. Maybe my body has since adjusted because I don't experience them anymore.

It gave me headaches and a bit of weight gain.

I definitely went up almost one bra size....

Estrace didn't give me any side effects at all and I was also on it three times a day - no bloating and not even any mood swings (at least that I noticed but DH didn't notice any either). So I hope it's the same for you. Congratulations on your forthcoming marriage and good luck with your cycle!

I’m getting married about halfway thru an ERA cycle. So I will be on estrace 3x daily but no PIOs yet as I approach my wedding. I have my last fitting next week. Should I expect to be bloated on estrace alone? Any other side effects I should be worried about? I’m glad to have no PIO but I’m wondering/worrying if this stuff might make me feel bad too. I’ve taken it before but vaginally and along with vaginal progesterone so i don’t really know how the oral will affect me. Thank you!
