Which would be to everyone's benefit: Democrats will be able to claim proudly that they were instrumental in ousting the President, and Republicans will be able to breathe a sigh of relief while not alienating their lunatic pro-Trump fringe.
Win-win.
And it's quite likely to happen, too!
It's why Pelosi and top Democrats are very stealth when it comes to impeachment, they don't want to spook everyone out before they strike. Let the base bay for blood, they're biding their time.

The problem is that the 25th Amendment puts it all in the hands of Pence (who's probably rooting for the chaos since that means the Rapture is just around the corner) and the Cabinet (which the President is conveniently decimating and filling with his toadies).

Everyone is waiting for the right moment.
I despise Trump and think he’s a dangerously incompetent. That said, he’d a relatively contained danger. Better to have him ride out until 2020 and then have him gracefully decide to not pursue a second term - “to run his businesses”; “he accomplished everything he wanted to” - than impeachment. Our country is bitterly tribal and this will only worsen with impeachment. And the cultish base and right wing nuts only become more vicious and nutty.
It would feel good (feel great) to impeach him; it would not be good for us longer term. I do worry about civil war, especially with all of the gun-toting nuts who are part of the GOP now

27 mental health professionals assessed Trump, and their expert opinions were published in a book detailing how he is a clear and present danger.
And that was way back in 2017...before he went completely bananas.
We also have conservatives in the actual administration calling him mentally ill, an idiot, a moron, a liar, etc.
