Check out Red Panda art in Bethesda. My friend started it recently and I know she has kids of all ages there. She is a talented teacher and does a lot of workshops like you're requesting.

Spanish and crafts classes in the NW DC area. They go to you your place if space is available.
Also, they can do group classes with kids of a similar age to your for fun activities.

Best and good luck

I am interested in finding out about places that offer children's classes that only meet for 1-2 session. Special workshops, events, or whatever. Basically, I don't want to commit to another semester or year long class, but I would be interested in opportunities that are not a commitment.

Do you know of any places that offer these types of classes? (my kids are 5 & 8, but feel free to share a range of ages)
