Of course you can. You can compare admissions statistics, what people in the west think of the schools/reputations, that sort of thing. If you don't know, don't bother to post anything.

My DD and her dad are going to see all three schools next week. I’ll post impressions here when they get back. I can say she’s already a little turned off by the fact that you must apply ED to Colorado College to be accepted. They fill about 85% of their spaces that way

Are they into the outdoors? Boulder is like Charlotesville with real mountains. It's an amazing place. You have access to a real city, but you can be on a bike or hiking trail within minutes. The downtown is just like Charlottesville's (bricked over, without cars), but bigger.

Boulder gives very little aid/merit. Beautiful, not close to skiing as you think though. Very expensive to live off campus.

My son went to Boulder for grad school and I didn’t get him back. He loved it and is staying.

Anybody have any insight into either school? DC just started talking about both, but I think the appeal is more in Colorado than the schools. I really don't know much about them in terms of academics and reputation, thought I'd reach out to DCUM and get the unvarnished truth.
