PP here - it's the way the elastic is done on the ankles and wrist cuffs. They're bunchy at first, but don't hang over the hands or feet because they're nice wide cuffs and hold up the excess fabric. Then they seem like they grow with the kid.


Yes, that must be it. Meanwhile the pajamas I bought at Target last week are already shrunk and misshapen. I’m sticking with buying HA pjs on sale or off FB for my older son knowing I can pass them down to my next son.

Yes. DD wore size 90 for at least a year. Just moved her up to 100, and they seem really big. And she's in 4t everything else.

Hanna Andersson fits my big (not a string bean) and tall 2.5 year old fabulously. One of the only brands that isn't too narrow. She wears a 4T in most other brands or 100/110 in HA, with room to grow in the 110s. Because the pajamas have elastic at the ankles and wrists, I don't mind buying them long and letting her grow into them.

PP here and I'm glad we aren't the only ones. I was just remarking this morning that he has been in the same long johns for years. Meanwhile the Carter pjs last a month.

My 3 year old has been in size 100 for about a year. They were big on him when first bought, but still useable. I am just looking at 110s, but I think he will get use out of the 100s for a few more months.

Compared to other brands, he has outgrown 4Ts from Gap, Old Navy. Gymboree seems to run big, so still in 4Ts there.

My kid is 3.5 and wearing 100s in all HA clothes, but I bought some clearance 110 summer clothes for next year, and zero chance she will be able to wear it. I'll save it for another summer. For some reason I think the 110 is a huge leap from the 100.

All clothing lines vary in sizing. The size chart for HA says it’s for kids 42-46 inches tall, or roughly equivalent to a US size 5.

I ordered my tall 4 year old a size 110 because thats what I order in other non US sizing brands, and they are HUGE - very long. Do they typically run big or is my personal sizing off?
