Not as bad as it sounds: He needed stitches but wasn't in any pain; I knew we'd be waiting hours at the ER, so the extra few minutes didn't matter.

Some of my cheap things I've done have been: saving literally everything from hotels (like I clear out soap, TP, tissues etc every night so it's all restocked daily), putting together lists in college (especially during finals week) of free food events- there were SO many meetings that had free food I could basically eat for free during finals week. One summer I worked at the med school on my campus for my work-study and new students started during the summer and they had bagels for students all.the.time. I basically lived on bagels that summer and I couldn't eat them for two years after. I would make breakfast bagels, pizza lunch bagels etc. It was crazy but there were so many leftover bagels like everyday and I couldn't imagine throwing them away.Anonymous wrote:OP I love your post.
