I do laundry, run errands, prep dinner. I work for a global company. Yesterday (labor day), was a holiday in the US but not in other countries and I was in meetings from 6am-noon.

You give and you take.

I get more done at home than I do in the office. People are less likely to chit chat, lunch is just a couple steps away, and my internet doesn't go down like the office's does (penny wise pound foolish organization). And I'm not watching the clock to be sure I make my bus.

The batteries on my vibrator usually run out before the battery on my laptop.

Thank you. Me too. I hate implication that I don't work because I telecommute, or people who say "I'm taking the day off/working from home" or any implications. I work my ASS off, from what I can tell when I visit my office, much harder and longer than my colleagues in an office.

I do laundry when I am on conference calls.

I have cnn on in the background. And often have my cat in my lap for phone calls. I also listen to conference calls where I just need to listen and not participate when I’m out walking.

start the washing machine and the dishwasher, sometimes fold laundry. get the roomba going. pick up a little. But I'm an attorney and they don't care what I do as long as I bill hours. I don't bill the time I do these chores.

I do laundry. I also blast music. I also pet the dog during phone or video calls.

Actually when I FaceTime with certain other coworkers who are also working from home, we sometimes have our dogs on video.
