Do you feel threatened? Do you feel you are in danger? You have your child to protect. You could see counsel. There are lawyers who listen to a case to see if they will take it. There are counselors who can help also. Either avenue would be good if you need immediate help.

If he threw something in your direction and has done stuff like this before, you are at risk for being harmed. People do crazy things when their relationships are coming apart. Can you take steps to protect yourself and your child?

tell your lawyer and get a written statement from neighbor who saw him drop a kettle filled with soup from an apt balcony.

is this a legal separation or does this mean the clock resets for a year? didnt' MD cut the time to 6 mos?

We are separated but currently due to finance live under same roof. My ex (I guess, will call it this way) got some news that upset him and it was hard to talk/deal/be in same house so I took my child and leave for the day to do other things. As we were leaving the house he threw metal pot with soup in it from the balcony at our direction in front of the very next door neighbor who also was at their balcony/deck. I didn’t stop, and we left. With all the feelings about this incident I don’t know what to do (no time, no emotional energy). Should I just wait it out (since he showed impulsive acts in the past) and continue as nothing happened (also because of the stress if an have on the child)?.
