My DS measured two weeks ahead in every ultrasound, and my OB wasn't the least bit worried. I was secretly hoping that would translate to delivering a little early, but nope, he was ten days late. And big.

My baby measured a couple weeks behind and was born 2 weeks early and he was still a really long boy.

My baby measured a week ahead in the first trimester and now is measuring right on track at 21 weeks. We did not change the due date and I don't think it had any correlation to the sex of the baby.

I measured exactly on time at 6 weeks, 2-3 days ahead at 7 weeks, 5-6 days ahead at 8 weeks, and 10+ days ahead at 10 weeks. When I miscarried shortly after my 10 week scan, my baby was much closer in size to a 12-week fetus. My doctor said she was probably just going to be a very big baby (and my baby was a girl, so her sex had nothing to do with her size).

So sorry for your loss PP.

Thank you everyone! I will have to wait until end of September to find out the sex so I was hoping that at least the size would help the guessing game...

My son consistently measured 2 weeks ahead but since he was my first, they wouldn’t change his due date. Wouldn’t you know, he arrived 2 weeks early and was 8 lbs. Nothing to be concerned about, just have your bag packed a little ahead of time!

My baby consistently measured a week ahead. He came out on his due date at 9lbs. So just a big baby.

I was high risk, so I had almost weekly ultrasounds.

I measured exactly on time at 6 weeks, 2-3 days ahead at 7 weeks, 5-6 days ahead at 8 weeks, and 10+ days ahead at 10 weeks. Thank you! Unfortunately I just met with the us technician. I will have a first dr appointment on Thursday and will ask

I just the first us since I was 6 weeks and baby is measuring big. The first measurements at 6 weeks were exactly in line with my missed period and ovulation dates. The technician took a lot of measurements and all of them were 5-7 days ahead. Should I worry about anything? Could it be that i am expecting a really big boy? I don’t know the sex yet, but I have 2 girls and they always measured at their expected date for the first few months. I know that after 20 weeks or so one week more or less it’s normal, but at 13 weeks?

TIA
