For the love of god people, eat fruit before this garbage. Fruit carbs will always, akways, ALWAYS be infinitely more healthy.

Don't be ridiculous. Fruit is one part of a healthy diet. Protein and fat are important too. You can't say this food is infinitely better. Both are important, and both are incomplete.

I know for me, that if I eat fruit (or other carby foods) for breakfast, I'm starving an hour later, and given that I work at a job where I can eat before I leave home at 7 a.m., or I can eat at my scheduled lunch break at noon, that's a recipe for disaster. The healthy thing for me is to load up on protein and fat in the a.m., and then eat my fruits and vegetables later in the day.

Yes, but sometimes you need more than just a cup of fruit in the morning. Those eggwiches aren't health food but they do pack protein, aren't too many calories and keep you full for awhile.

Hummus, carrots and cucumber
Chicken and sweet potato (toddler style)
Quinoa made like oatmeal (with nuts and berries)

When I’m being good I have containers of green vegetables that I made over the weekend and just eat that with a half a piece of toast

I can't be bothered to make anything in the a.m., so I alternate between:

Greek Yogurt

Almonds

Left over meat, if I have some from dinner

Cheese

I just have one thing, all I need is some protein and fat to hold me until lunch.

Before someone tells me how unhealthy this is, I'll say that I have plenty of fruits and veggies at lunch and dinner. I just know that if I eat carbs at 8:00, I'll be starving by 10:00, but somehow carbs later are OK and I can stay on track caloriewise.

A tablespoon of heavy cream in your coffee -- puts a big dent in your hunger. Pickles/kimchi. Hard-boiled egg from fridge. Certain KIND bars.

Cottage cheese on top of a rice cake. I eat the Daisy brand cottage cheese. For a treat top it with Bonne Maman jam, or sprinkle with dill or hot red peeper flakes, or... well, the sky is the limit.

Eggs (can be made so many different ways, so I never get tired of them. I even eat eggs for dinner a lot).
Roasted Veggies
Slice of cheese with coffee
Fruits
Yogurt with fruits and granola
Cold cuts
Smoked salmon
Give a try to cottage cheese (I dont' like most of US brands and buy either Amish's' cheese, or make it by myself).
Leftovers from dinner

Any ideas for quick on the go low carb breakfast ideas? I have been eating greek yogurt for months and I'm getting tired of it. I'm also tired of eggs. What else is there? I'm going to give cottage cheese a whirl and see how that goes. Any other tips would be appreciated!
