I had an excellent cake from Giant--the strawberry filling was real sliced strawberries, and the cake and frosting were good.

Costco cakes only come in 1/2 sheet sizes and they are VERY dense (have a thick layer of mouse in between the layers of cake). We got one for our son's birthday where there were 50 people (30 adults, 20 kids) and we still had about a 1/3 of the cake left after the party.

All said, I prefer Giant cakes and cupcakes. They're a little more expensive but not nearly as rich. Plus you can get a smaller cake for your party size.

People love Costco cakes. Safeway does a nice job too, option of whipped cream frosting.

Costco cakes are the crown jewel. Giant cakes are really delicious too so either way you'll have a great cake.

A personalized Costco cake is huge, and around $20. You can choose from 20 or so different designs. Just had one for my teen's birthday, and it was terrific. Costco, all the way! Wegman's cakes are super expensive.
