Yes, call. When we've been out of town during the week of the orientation in the past, I always called the front office and they were happy to tell us our teacher assignment. Plenty of staff will be on hand the first day to help guide students to their classrooms. Have a great year!

I missed open house last year and the school gave me the info over the phone. In fact, the email instruction from the school was “if your child doesn’t receive their Elementary classroom assignment postcard by date x, please call the main office.”

We typically get that information in the mail but this year our ES did late mailings and I called the admin office, they were very helpful. Just call and ask.

The first week of school is "all hands on deck". That means any staff member who isn't a homeroom teacher is out front and in the hallways during arrival. Many of them have rosters of every student in the school and who their teacher is. Then other staff members act as "runners" and bring the kids down to their classrooms if they are new to the school and don't know where to go. --teacher

This. They are very good also, at helping new kids find their classrooms on the first day - many of the teachers are there to help in the corridor as well as 5th graders.

Call the school and ask.

If you know someone going to the open house you can ask them they take a picture of the class lists for you. I’ve done that for people in past years. Or they can inquire for you if the school doesn’t post them. Our school also has patrols and staff at the bus loop on the first day and I think he could ask any of them for help.
