It has to be HS. I can not imagine a MS taking that math course; it is a 200 level math course in college.
Yes but I could not imagine there not being at least a few kids at every high school taking higher math.
Although a couple of the kids in my kid's class stepped down from the advanced math track into AB calc junior year instead of BC calc, and are no longer on the track for the highest 12th grade math track. They are all really smart kids but decided they are not interested in STEM (humanities kids) or want to approach calculus at a slower pace to really get down the fundamentals instead of barreling through it.
Perhaps that is happening at your kid's school OP?
