oh also a ficus might work; they are pretty tough. They might drop leaves when you first get them home, but they should come back.

ferns are great but you need to pay attention to them with water and moisture.

I second the zz plant idea. You can get a big one, too. Or put one on a stand if you want height.

Also, when a plant starts looking raggedy, you can move it for a while so it gets the sun it needs, then move it back.

Golden pothos is a great low-light (and low-maintenance) option.

Adding a plant to the end of my hallway with no windows /minimal natural light. What is the best option for a plant hat will thrive with the lowest light ? Not in love with snake plants either. Any other suggestions?
