I feel like it's that way across the area.
You get so many kids whose parents just signed them up to get them out of the house and away from Fortnite.
My kids are very into soccer and go to camps to get something out of them. They end up getting kids mixed on the scrimmage teams that just want to sit there and yap about video games. I tell my kids to just work hard and having to play multiple positions during the scrimmage to make up for the kids actively not participating will only make them better

Most camps will make every effort to group kids of similar ability together, but it's hard when the quality overall is very low.
