I keep mine in the eyeglasses holders above my mirror. Seems to work fine on 95/395/495, etc., but when I’m other places like Richmond, I need to take it out and hold it up...

I used to have mine velcroed on the windshield but I came out of work one evening and my battery was dead. It had fallen off and hit my hazard button and my hazards had been going off all day. Now we just hold it up and it seems fine.

Mine is on the dash and about once a week I miss a toll. This is on DTR. Never had a problem on 95/495 Express Lanes.

Mines on the windshield but I’ve had 2 experiences when it was on the dash and it didn’t get read. One in a rental car and one in my car. So it’s worth getting the Velcro strips -they will send you a bunch.

Over more than ten years, we’ve never velcro’d ours, and it’s always worked.

DH keeps his in the glove box of his Prius and it works just fine.

In the 17 years I’ve had EZ Pass living in 2 different states, I’ve never had my EZ pass attached to the windshield.

I have friends who keep them by them and just hold them up as they go through. Way too much work for me.

Depends on the station. Sometimes OK on dash sometimes not.

Husband has been driving in new car with EZ pass on dashboard and the light turns green as he drives through.

We bought a new car and I tried to transfer the ez pass and Velcro and it keeps falling down. Does it have to be in that spot? Can I put it on our deep dashboard? Please don’t tell me to google because the answers are 20 years old.
